Hi there, I’m Paulina!
Originally from the bustling city of Athens, I always dreamed of a life surrounded by nature and tranquility. In 2001, I decided to make that dream a reality. I left my job in Athens and joined my family's restaurant team in Lefkes, Paros, Greece embracing the slower, more fulfilling pace of island life.
During COVID period, I finally had the time to pursue a long-held passion: crochet. With countless hours spent on YouTube, I mastered the craft and found immense joy in creating handmade pieces. This year, 2024, I took a leap of faith and opened a tiny shop for my crochet creations, alongside my e-shop. Nestled next to our family restaurant, my new venture, SweetSmelling.Gr, is a dream come true.
Every morning, I wake up in my paradise, feeling blessed by the beauty of nature, the vibrant colors, the delightful smells, and the company of my beloved pets. Life on the island is full of surprises and joy, and I cherish every moment of it.
I am passionate about truly handmade creations. At SweetSmelling.Gr, you’ll find unique, lovingly crafted crochet items that bring warmth and happiness. My motto is simple: happiness is handmade.
